Our dedicated and well resourced training team work with our local managers to make sure training is delivered in a timely and effective way to everyone in our business – whether they are new starters, store teams, in our Contact Centre or in Head Office.
The range of training we offer is huge. It includes everything from First Aid, Health & Safety and customer service skills to personal, supervisory and management development. We also provide individuals with support for externally accredited professional qualifications. In fact, there are almost too many courses to list. What we can say is that when our employees were independently asked by Gallup to score whether they are encouraged to train and develop at Screwfix – the average answer for these questions exceeds 4 out of 5.
