Saving for your future

Award-winning company pension scheme

Life cover

In the unfortunate event that you die whilst employed by us your beneficiary will receive a lump sum payment. An enhanced level of cover is provided to members of the Kingfisher Pension scheme at 4 x annual salary

Discounted company share save scheme

As part of the Kingfisher Group, Screwfix employees have the opportunity to take part in our company share schemes. Employees are invited to join the Share Save on an annual basis, which gives the option to save towards the purchase of shares at a discounted price after 3 or 5 years. Additionally there is the chance to join the incentive plan at any time, which provides the option to buy shares from gross pay providing a tax efficient way of investing for the future.

Helping with the cost of home improvement or bringing your garden to life you will enjoy a 20% discount with Screwfix and (after a qualifying period) with B&Q.

Discounted healthcare with Simply Health

You have the opportunity to join Simplyhealth’s Simply Cash Plan to help you meet the cost of everyday healthcare, e.g. dentist, physio etc. A range of complementary services are provided to members including a helpline and GP services. Additionally their Simply Accident Plan can cover you against injury and more.


Long service awards

We value employee loyalty and like to mark key milestones in your career with awards. These begin when you have achieved 5 years service with Screwfix.


Up to 33 days’ holiday (pro rata)

Full time employees get at least 28 days holiday (up to 33 days, dependant on position and/or length of service). Part timers get the pro-rated equivalent.

Bike 4 work

Helping you keep fit whilst travelling to work, the cycle scheme enables you to purchase a bicycle and necessary equipment from your gross pay. This is an approved scheme meaning that employees can save the tax and NI on their purchase whilst spreading the purchase cost with deductions from monthly pay.
