“I started at Screwfix about 3 years ago on a Customer Service apprenticeship and gained a level 2 NVQ. It was a fantastic opportunity to learn all aspects of customer service. Since then I’ve progressed to the trade team and I’m now in Kingfisher Future Homes and also provide support on the real-time desk. There’s plenty of room for progression with managers who support you and help you along the way.
I really enjoy getting to know our customers, but they can be challenging at times. However, we’ve excellent systems and processes in place that help us to deal with their queries effectively and efficiently. I really enjoy coming to work, the people are great and you feel like you belong.
Screwfix has a friendly environment both in and outside of work. I’ve made many new friends here. I love the fact that we’re based in Yeovil. It gives me a great opportunity to pursue my hobby – sitting with my mates fishing at the many local lakes.”
